Website terms
Clear terms.
Your rights intact.
The terms for using this website and our demonstrations. Last updated 17 October 2026.
1. About these terms
This website is run by Independent Development and Coordination Pty Ltd (ABN 98 656 723 992) of New South Wales, Australia, under the Brightwork brand (“we”, “us”). These terms apply when you use brightworkmedia.com.au or take part in a demonstration.
Work we do for you, such as a PC build, installation, workflow development, upgrade or maintenance, is governed by your fixed written quote. If the quote and these terms differ, the quote applies to that work.
Your consumer rights. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law, that can’t lawfully be excluded. See section 8.
2. Information on this website
- Prices on this website are starting prices in Australian dollars and include GST. Your fixed written quote sets the price for your job, with hardware, licences and travel itemised where they apply.
- Workflow descriptions, demonstration campaigns and demonstration documents show what the tools can do. They are not a promise of specific results for your work.
- Where we quote other companies’ prices or terms, we show the date we checked them. They may have changed since.
3. Using this website
You must not:
- use the website in breach of any law, or to harass or harm anyone;
- try to get around its security, interfere with how it works, or access parts of it you aren’t allowed to; or
- send spam, malware or content you don’t have the right to share through the enquiry form.
4. Demonstrations
- We offer demonstrations after we verify the agency or business and agree a time. We can decline a request.
- Access to our machines is temporary and ends after the session. Use only the workflows we make available.
- Only upload material you have the right to use. Please leave out confidential client material.
- Don’t use a demonstration to create content that is unlawful, deceptive, sexual and involving real people or minors, or that infringes someone’s rights, or to impersonate a real person. We may end a session that breaks these rules.
- AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected. Check it before relying on it.
- Our privacy policy explains how we handle what you enter or upload.
5. Our content
We or our licensors own the text, design, images and videos on this website. You may view, download and print pages, such as the fit checklist, for your own use. Don’t republish or sell our content without our written permission.
6. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information, and how to access it, correct it or complain.
7. Links to other websites
We link to other companies’ websites as sources. We don’t control those sites, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:
- to cancel your service contract with us; and
- to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
Apart from those guarantees, other rights that can’t be excluded, and promises in your written quote, we provide this website and its information “as is”. We don’t promise the website will always be available or error-free.
If goods or services we supply are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use, then, to the extent the law allows, our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee is limited to supplying the services again or paying for them to be supplied again, or to replacing or repairing the goods or paying for that.
9. Liability
Subject to section 8, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue or data, or for indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of this website or a demonstration. This doesn’t limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or for wilful misconduct. Each party’s liability is reduced to the extent the other caused or contributed to the loss.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the law, our services or the website. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes don’t affect a quote you have already accepted.
11. Disputes and governing law
If you have a complaint, contact us first. We will acknowledge it within 5 business days and try to resolve it within 30 days. If we can’t resolve it, either of us can suggest mediation. Consumers can also contact NSW Fair Trading or the consumer protection agency in their state or territory. Nothing here stops either of us going to a court or tribunal, such as the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales. Each of us submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
